Tottori burger festa started in 2009 and has attracted lots of visitors.

Matsue Suitoro(Water Lantern Festival) is one of the most famous events in Shimane prefecture that takes place at Matsue castle ground.
Matsue city is known as water city and Matsue castle is designated as National treasure.

Hundreds of lanterns with decoration are lit up and line up which shows us a magical view .

New tourist train Ametsuchi started the service July 1st,2018.
This train consists of 2 cars and can accommodate up to 59 people.
It operates between Tottori station and Izumoshi station one round trip per day mostly Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

Tottori Prefecture is famous for its  fresh and delicious seafood.
That is because there is Sakai port(Sakaiminato) which is one of the most busiest fishing ports in Japan.
Sakaiminato had been No1 port in Japan for 5 years in a row since 1992 until 1996.

Abe Eishiro Memorial Museum was founded in 1983 and is located in Matsue.
Eishiro Abe was designated as Preserver of an important intangible cultural property and better known as living national treasure .

Yushien Garden is located on Daikonjima Islands in the middle of Lake Nakaumi.
It was established as a private garden in the first place and then opened to the public .
It features about 250 types of peonies.

Kabeya Shuseikan is a historical museum witha a collection of Sakurai family.
Sakurai family was a tesshi(manager of Tatara iron-making process) family and their house is one of the two houses in Okuizumo.

Shussaigama Pottery is located in Izumo city, 10 minutes drive away from Izumo-shi station.
Shussai gama(klin) was founded in 1947 by 5 young men influenced by Mingei Folk-Art Movement.
These members were deeply inspired by Yanagi Sotetsu(the leader of Mingei Folk-Art Movement) and Bernard Leach(a famous English potter).

Ichibata Yakushi Temple is located in Izumo city and founded in 894.
The main hall is on the mountain top at 200m.
This temple is known for its benefit for eye problems.
