Mount Daisen

Mt Daisen is the highest mountain in Chugoku region. It is 1,711 meters high.
Mt Daisen is also designated as Daisen-Oki National park(3rd oldest National Park in Japan).
This mountain is known as the largest beech forest in the western Japan.

Of course the panoramic view from the summit is magnificent but the appearance by itself is also incredibly beautiful.
You can see the green leaves from the spring to summer which turns into red, yellow and orange leaves in fall.
Hiking is the most popular activities in summer and this mountain is also famous as ski resort in winter.
You can definitely enjoy Mt Daisen any time of the year.
